Tyrus Sellers is a makeup artist and was the coach of the Elite Starz of Nashville, a dance team from Nashville, Tennessee.
Personal Life[]
Tyrus Sellers was born on June 7, 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee. He went to Maplewood High School where he danced for the schools marching band. He graduated from high school in 2000. Tyrus went to Jackson State University and was a member of the Prancing J-settes.
Tyrus joined the coaching staff of the Elite Starz of Nashville in August 2013. The team itself was founded in July 2013 by Steven Dillard. On January 31, 2019, Tyrus announced he was leaving the Elite Starz of Nashville. On April 4, 2019, Tyrus founded his own dance team, Dynamic Angelz of Nashville.

Season 2 []
Tyrus finds Dianna in the hallway before the competition and the two talk. Before walking away, Tyrus tells Dianna that he needs a pair of her leggings after the competition is over.
During their creative dance, Tyrus joins his team and dances with them.
Season 3 []
Dianna comes across Tyrus in the hallway of the competition venue and Tyrus confidently tells her that his team is going to beat the Dolls. He then air kicks at her before walking away.
Tyrus and Dianna meet again at the competition and Miss D is amused with their interaction. Tyrus air kicks at Dianna again and he is reminded that he has to defeat the Dazzling Divas of Macon before he can battle the Dolls.
Face the Music! It's the Finale!
Tyrus is speaking to Dianna, Quincy, and John before the competition.
Tyrus is prank called by Tamala and Rittany where they pretend to be from the Nashville Majorette Association. The mothers tell him that there was a lot of extra cleanup at the last competition and he tells them he will not change the amount of glitter and props he will use. Tyrus figures out it is a prank call and Rittany ends the call.
At the competition, Tyrus is stretching in the hallway when Dianna finds him. The pair sit on the floor and talk. Tyrus gets up and struts away from Miss D.
Season 4 []
Tyrus and Dianna have switched teams for the week and he is coaching the Dancing Dolls. He and Dianna met in a clothing store where they agreed to switch teams for the week. After arriving at the Dollhouse, Tyrus announces that none of the stand battle team will be allowed to try out for the call-out round as he wants to give the other girls a chance to perform. He ends practice at 9 pm despite Kayla telling Tyrus that practice usually ends at 10 pm.
Two days before the competition, Trus picks out random girls to try out for the call-out round. Tina enters the Dollhouse dressed in a gorilla suit and she asks Tyrus if he can discuss this week's arrangement with the rest of the DDPs. After hearing their concerns, he decides to ignore them and returns to the Dollhouse. The auditions continue and he picks McKenzie, O'Shay and Haleigh.
One day before the competition, Tyrus finds himself unimpressed with the Dolls during practice for the field show due to the lack of facial expression on the dancers. He moves on to work with the girls he has chosen for the call-out round. O'Shay performs well but McKenzie and Haleigh do not. He decides to audition more girls and chooses Leniah, Angela and Star to audition. Angela and Leniah are chosen to replace McKenzie and Haleigh.
Dianna and Tyrus have a chat before the start of the competition and Tyrus tells Dianna how well practice has gone this week. Tyrus ends up picking up Dianna and walking off with her. During the field show, Tyrus is impressed with the Elite Starz's performance.
Tyrus has chosen a DJ/drummer for his team's creative dance with live music performance. Tyrus then joins his team on stage whilst a song plays utilising his catchphrase. During the Dolls' performance, Tyrus and Charkeitha become emotional and Dianna, Charkeitha and him hug at the end of the performance.
