Traci Young-Byron is the artistic director of the YCDT SupaStarz, a dance team from Miami, Florida.
Personal Life[]
Traci Young was born on November 23, 1979 in Liberty City in Miami, Florida. She began dancing at the age of 3 with the Inner City Children’s Touring Dance Company. She then went to then South Miami Middle School and then to the Miami Northwestern Senior High School’s Performing and Visual Arts Center in order to pursue her love of dance.
In 1997, Traci attended Florida State University, doing a degree in dance. In 1998, she was selected to study at the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive in New York City. In early 2000, she joined the Kappa Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; she received a bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance in 2001. She became employed by the Miami Dade County Public School system in 2001.
In 2002, Traci joined the Miami Heat Dancers, the dance team for the Miami Heat NBA team. She was part of the team for 9 years.
In 2004, Traci founded the YCDT. In 2008, Traci became the Artistic Director of the PAVAC Dance program and the elite Golden Girls Dance Team.
Traci married Jean Byron in 2012. In 2013, Traci started the competition team, YCDT SupaStarz.

Traci has her team doing endurance exercises during practice and she reveals that she will be using male dancers in their stands. The day before the competition, Traci drives herself and her team to the Dollhouse to see the Dancing Dolls. Dianna comes outside and the pair have a tense conversation. Dianna tells Traci that her team is practicing currently and that Traci's team need to leave.
At the competition, Traci is amused by the Dolls' coach dressed up as her.
Traci has decided to use live percussion during their creative dance performance this week. On the day of the competition, Traci has lost her voice and she tells her captain, Misha, that she will need to be her voice today. During their creative dance performance, Traci emerges from a box and dances with her team.
An unseen conversation is shown in this episode which occurred in Battle Royale 2015 between Traci and Dianna.
