Terrell Vaughn is the father of Kayla Jones, the former captain of the Dancing Dolls, and the husband of Tina Jones.
Personal Life[]
Terrell Vaughn was born on August 15, 1980. Not much else is known about his early life.
He began dating Tina Jones in 1995, with whom he has had a total of five children with: Kayla, TJ, Jayvian, Terryran, Jojo, and Tamya. On August 3, 2017, Tina gave birth to a baby boy called Kareem "Khaos" Vaughn however he tragically passed away two days later from meningitis. Tina and Terrell got married on November 24, 2015, the wedding was featured in the episode The Wicked Witch of Jackson.
His daughter Kayla Jones was born May 10, 1997 who is one of the dancers featured on the show. On July 3, 2019, Tina gave birth to a baby girl called Tamya "Tootie" Vaughn. Not much is known about Terrell's other sons: TJ, Jayvian, Terryran, and Jojo.

Season 1[]
Kayla comes to ask Terrell if he could come to her competition that weekend. He says he cannot come this weekend but he will come some time in the future.
Tina asks Terrell to come to the competition that week and he says he will come. At the Street Battle, he shows up wearing a shirt that says 'My Twin' with a picture of him and Kayla. He shouts her name to get her attention which makes her happy.
Terrell is interviewed in this special episode of 'Bring It!'. He talks about how he always wanted Kayla to play basketball as she grew up and how proud he is of her being the captain of the Dancing Dolls. He appreciates the life lessons that the Dolls and Miss D have taught Kayla and he admires her dedication and hard working attitude.
Terrell gives Kayla's boyfriend, Mo, a talk before he takes his daughter to Prom. He reminds Mo that there is a curfew and that they are not allowed to go to any after parties.
Baby Dolls vs. Baby Tigerettes
Terrell, Calvin, and JJ arrive outside of the Dollhouse. They look through the windows and spot the mothers inside. JJ starts to show off his moves and the fathers get loud. Miss D comes to investigate and JJ tells Dianna she should add the three of them to the parent's field show routine. JJ tells Dianna to let them perform a routine for her to convince her and she agrees and goes back inside the Dollhouse. The fathers work on their routine and then enter the Dollhouse and perform for Dianna. Dianna likes their routine and agrees to add them to the field show, under the stipulation that they must dance with their wives/ex-wives. So Terrell dances with Tina at the competition.
Season 2[]
Over at Kayla's house, Kayla and Tina get ready to go to prom as Kayla invited her mother to go with her. Tina also invited Terrell to come too. Tina reveals that she didn't get to go to prom herself as, during her senior prom, she had to stay home and look after Kayla as she and Terrell were not together at that point. They all try to leave for prom and Terrell stops Tina from leaving. Terrell proposes to Tina and she says yes.
Terrell is waiting in the living room at Sunjai's house when Kayla walks out in her graduation gown. He claps for Kayla and Sunjai. He, Tina, and Kayla take pictures outside.
We see clips of Tina and Terrell's engagement in this special episode of 'Bring It!'. Later, we see a clip of Tina and Terrell talking to Kayla's boyfriend, Mo. Mo asks if Terrell and Tina will push Kayla's curfew back later and if he can stay over but they both say no. Kayla brings out her tortoise she and Mo own together to convince her parents that she is responsible but Terrell and Tina are unconvinced.
Season 3[]
At Tina's bachelorette party in the DDP viewing room, Terrell, Calvin, and JJ surprise the mothers and perform a dance for them. Tina is surprised to see them and enjoys their performance.
Season 4[]
Terrell, Tina, and Kayla visit a dance studio that Kayla wants to rent for her own dance team. Kayla likes the studio but she is wary of the rental cost.
Terrell and Tina are unloading equipment from their car for Kayla's hip hop team auditions. He sticks around to wait for auditionees to arrive.
