Jay Fever is a competition host on Bring It! from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He travels around with the Dancing Dolls to every competition they host.
Personal Life[]
Johnny Harrinston, a.k.a. Jay Fever, was born in 1972 in Chattenooga, Tennessee. He went to Brainerd High School from 1987-1990. He then attended Gardner-Webb University from 1990-1991 where he did General Studies. After that, he attended Chattanooga State Community College where he studied Sports Medicine from 1991-1993.
He has four children, one being Kirsten, and multiple grandchildren. He is not with his daughter Kirsten's mother. He married Fanta Harrington in 2022.
Jay has had many jobs from disk jockey to working for a life insurance company. He has worked for the A+E Network since October 2013, which is the network that hosts 'Bring It!'.

Season 1[]
We see Jay host a competition for the first time.
This is the second competition we see Jay host.
Jay hosts his third competition for 'Bring It!' in this episode.
This is the fourth competition we see Jay host before he starts to regularly host competitions from Season 2 onwards.
Season 2[]
Jay began to regularly host the competitions from the start of Season 2 onwards.
Jay Fever is seen trying to mediate the argument between the Divas and the Dolls. He goes over to the judges to explain the situation.
Jay starts the competition by introducing the celebrity judges.
After Miss D notices that one of the Lowndes County Dance Company stands in the stand battle is too long and she approaches Jay. He goes over to the judges to discuss this.
Season 3[]
Jay Fever introduces the Divas of Compton at the competition and the team arrives in a cloud of smoke. After the Dolls and Divas compete in the call-out round and stand battle, the teams are drawn and Jay announces there will be a coaches battle.
Jay announces there is a tie in the creative dance with props category, much to the despair of Miss D.
Miss D questions whether the Infamous Dancerettes are allowed to use a marching band and a drill team that is not part of their dance company. She talks to Jay about this and he asks the judges if it is allowed. The judges inform Jay it is allowed and there is no rule against it and thus he informs Dianna of this.
After the judges and Jay make a mistake announcing the results of the competition, they sit Neva down and explain to her what happened. Jay announced that the Divas did not place in the creative dance category when they in fact did. He apologises to her.
Jay explains to the nine coaches before the competition about the solo preview stage and how the competition will be run. He then allows each of the coaches to pull numbers so they know which order their soloist will perform and which teams they will compete against in the stand battle.
At the end of the competition, Jay announces the four teams who have earned the most points and are moving on to the Battle Royale next week.
Dianna created this competition so she and Kayla could battle each other. She gets Jay to come and host the competition.
Season 4[]
Jay announces there is a tie between the Dolls and Xplosive Dance Company at the awards ceremony.
Season 5[]
Jay calls Miss D and tells her that Black Ice will not be able to make it to the competition this week due to bad weather. He also says that the venue had a pipe burst so they have changed the venue to a smaller one.
Dianna created this competition for Crystianna and Makya to compete for the captain's position and she has gotten Jay to host.
After the celebrity judge makes disparaging comments towards the Dolls and Miss D, she takes her girls and walks off. The judge critiques the Dolls for their performance being too long and there being too much going on. Miss D tells Jay that their performance was 25 minutes and 41 seconds so they cannot be penalised as they are within the limit.
