If You Can't Stand The Heat...
On the day of the competition, Makya is feeling nervous about leading the team in the stand battle. Camryn checks in on Makya, reassuring her and encouraging her to be herself.
Camryn is chosen as the lead for one of the groups in the creative dance this week. The creative dance is an HBCU theme and Camryn will lead the group representing Southern University, which is the university she wishes to go to in the future. Her team will dance using Southern's style of dance.
At the start of practice, a group of girls is called out by Miss D as she wishes to speak with them. Camryn is one of these girls. Camryn is there as she is one of the team leaders but she was not involved in the texting scandal that unfolded.
The next day, Camryn is at home looking for her acceptance letter from Southern University. Mimi tells her to be patient and she tries to convince her to go to Jackson State University. Camryn says no.
Later on, she is driving herself and Crystianna to practice and Crystianna tries to be positive about Camryn's chances of getting into Southern.
On the day of the competition, Mimi brings Camryn a letter from Southern University. Camryn opens the letter and realises she has been rejected. She feels defeated and she says she would rather stay home today. Mimi then reveals the real letter from Southern and Camryn has been accepted. Mimi wrote a fake rejection letter to prank Camryn. Camryn is overjoyed at the news.
At the competition, Camryn leads her team well and the Dolls win the creative dance category.
This week's competition involves the Dolls dancing in the bleachers for the stand battle semi-finals before doing the final round on the dance floor. Camryn is looking forward to this as she feels it will be good practice for when she tries out for the dance team at Southern. Camryn will be the captain of the team when the team perform in the bleachers and if they make it to the final round, Crystianna will lead the team in the final stand battle.
At the competition, Camryn successfully leads the team to victory in the stand battle in the bleachers and Crystianna leads the team well in the final stand battle. They win the competition.
Camryn is chosen to lead the team this week in the stand battle as the stands will be difficult. The Dolls win the stand battle at the competition.
During the creative dance this week, the team is divided into five groups with the group leaders being the graduating dancers on the team. Camryn leads her team well and the Dolls win the creative dance category.
Crystianna and Makya both lead the battle squad to victory in the semi-finals of the stand battle. Then, Camryn leads the squad in the finals. The team loses to the Prancing Tigerettes and Camryn is in shock. Makya and Crystianna are both announced to be the new captains of the team, thus Camryn steps down as captain.
Camryn and Mimi are driving and Mimi asks Camryn how she feels about leaving the Dancing Dolls. She says she is sad to leave as being a part of the team has made her a more confident person, but she is excited to go to college.
Crystianna does not show up to practice and Dianna lets the team know that Crystianna will not be back for the rest of the dance season. Camryn is disappointed in her friend for abandoning the team. Makya is also sick this week so the team is left without both of its captains.
At first, the team did not want to go to the competition this week but after Miss D's urging, the team decided to compete. Various members of the team will each lead a stand at the competition and Camryn is one of the girls chosen.
At the competition, Camryn throws her stand which involves the boys and a new trick they learned at practice. The stand goes well and the crowd loves the performance. The team ties with the Prancing Tigerettes and the host announces there will be a Captain's Battle to determine the winner. Camryn steps forward to compete and she wins.
So You Think You Can Choreograph?
There is a trio at the competition this week and Miss D tasks each of the seniors to choreograph a trio and Miss D will pick which one will compete at the competition. Camryn's trio consists of Tanesha, Princess, Shakira, and Star. Due to Camryn having four dancers in her team, she needs to cut one of them later on.
Camryn is going to prom this week and she will miss the competition. She feels saddened by this. She starts working on her trio and whilst she does not have a theme, she has started to work on the choreography.
On the second day of practice, Camryn decided the theme of her trio would be NASCAR. The team perform for Dianna and Camryn decides to cut Star as Star forgot the choreography.
Miss D has cut the number of trios down from four to two, with Camryn's team and Faith's team being the remaining teams in the running. On the third day of practice, Miss D asks to see both trios. Despite Shakira forgetting some of the choreography, Miss D chooses Camryn's team as she likes how "grimy" the routine is.
On the day of the competition, Camryn gets ready for her prom and she calls her trio to give them a pep talk. Her trio wins at the competition.
The competition has an elimination stand battle and in the final round, Camryn is eliminated after the first stand.
Camryn's graduation party is this week and Mimi places a crown on her head before leading her to a horse-drawn carriage. The carriage takes Camryn and her mother to her party. When she arrives, she hugs her father and he makes a speech about how proud he is of her. Camryn cries and hugs him again. She sits down at the long table along with the other graduating Dolls and alumni, DDP, and Miss D all make speeches for her. Miss D reminisces about watching Camryn grow up and she tells Camryn she loves her.
Camryn is going on tour with ten other girls and they begin working on the choreography this week.
During rehearsals for the tour, the team are told they look tired and are not performing well. Camryn says she is old and does not have energy.
The first performance of the tour goes well and Camryn, Makalah, Faith, and Ken'Janae perform a graduation-themed routine. Camryn graduates with a 4.0 GPA and a full college scholarship.
