"Bring It Live! Detour" is the twenty-third episode of Season 5 of Bring It!. It first aired on March 21st, 2019.

Synopsis[]

The Dancing Dolls hit-the-road for the Bring It Live! Tour, but roadblocks along the way leave the fate of tour in serious danger. As the clock ticks down to opening night, Princess battles overcoming her newbie fears, Kayla attempts to find her voice through dance, and Faith struggles to find confidence on the floor after an injury. Will the show soar? Or will Bring It Live! buckle under the spotlight?

This week's is the 'Bring It! Live Tour'.

THREE DAYS TO THE OPENING NIGHT

It's 8 am and Dianna and the team are getting on to the tour bus. Tanishia will join Princess and the team on their first stop in Baton Rogue, Louisiana.

The girls and Dianna leave and Tina, Selena, Tanishia, and Dana decide to accompany the girls to the first stop of the tour. Tanishia and Dana are driving together and Tina and Selena are driving together. Selena has brought a lot of bags for their five-day trip and Tina is exasperated by her.

The team arrive in Baton Rogue and Mimi is there as the chaperone for the third year in a row. The team start rehearsal. The four other mothers arrive and they enter the auditorium. They approach Mimi and she rushes them out. The other four mothers are led to the green room with a TV in it to watch their children.

The girls continue rehearsal and Dianna is not happy with the introduction with the curtains. The girls are not holding them at the same height and are not dancing with full intensity. After rehearsal, the girls head back to the bus and get into bed. They shut out Mimi from coming in.

TWO DAYS TO THE OPENING NIGHT

The girls continue rehearsing and Miss D thinks it looks horrible. Faith does her solo which is Barbie-themed. Miss D is worried about Faith's knee injury and Faith is not dancing full-out. Faith was cleared by the doctor to use her knee but she is reluctant in case she gets injured again. Kayla is doing her solo next which is about all the bullying she has received over the years on social media.

Miss D calls her son to show him her own tour bus and then she ends the call to shower.

ONE DAY TO THE OPENING NIGHT

Kayla has come to meet with the tour director and creative director. The creative director, Jennifer, asks Kayla about the comments that Kayla has shown her. She feels sad for Kayla and tells her to push herself to overcome them and put it in her performance.

The team are doing a full dress rehearsal and the curtains in the introduction are still causing the Dolls problems. Faith does her solo and she is still holding back as she is worried about her knee. Princess unsuccessfully does a trick and then she is in the wrong place in the next formation. Princess is upset with herself for messing up.

After the final rehearsal, the tour producers, Ben and Simone, came to talk to the team. They tell the girls that they look tired. Camryn says she is old and she does not have energy. Ben tells Princess that she was out of formation and Dianna takes over and tells the girls off. She reminds them that due to their contract, they can be fired and replaced if they do not perform well.

THE DAY OF THE OPENING NIGHT

Dana and Faith meet outside the venue so Dana can have a chat with her. Dana asks Faith about her goal for the tour. She says she wants to leave a lasting mark and Dana tells her she needs to show that in rehearsal as well as in the performance. Faith expresses her anxiety over her knee despite the doctor clearing her and Dana tells her she needs to push aside her fears.

Two hours before the show starts, the team hold a meet and greet with the fans. One hour before, Tina, Selena, Dana, and Tanishia sit in the audience and talk about how excited they are for the show.

The show begins and the introduction goes well, then Dianna does a solo. Faith's solo is next and her solo goes well. Dana stands up and cheers for her daughter. The Beyoncé routine is next and then Kayla's "Kaylarella" routine. Miss D says she feels inspired by Kayla's routine and she is proud of her. Makya, Princess, and Crystianna perform their American football-themed trio next. The show ends with a graduation routine from Camryn, Faith, Makalah, and Ken'Janae. The rest of the team enters the stage and they end the show.

The girls come to the dressing room to see their families and Dianna congratulates all of them. In an interview, Dianna says that the boys have grown on her and she reminisces on the drama this season. She reiterates that they have overcome many obstacles and achieved a lot.

The team get on the bus and the parents bid their daughters goodbye.
